First release of “RESTO” a contactless restaurant POS system

Among the above solutions, our contactless restaurant ordering system “RESTO” will be introduced for the first time in this event. It is a useful solution we would like to recommend to the restaurant industry where demand is expected to increase from now on.

RESTO is the one-stop POS application that can be used by both customers and restaurant staffs. In the past, there was a service where customers could order from a tablet provided by the restaurant, but it was insufficient as a countermeasure against COVID-19 because there are many customers using the same tablet.

This system can minimize human contact. Just scanning the restaurant’s QR code, the customers can explore the digital menu to order their dishes and complete the payment on their smartphones. For the restaurant side, all operations such as real-time management of orders, payment on POS machine can be covered in one service, so it leads to reduction of equipment cost. Moreover, with the cashless and contactless payment, this solution is expected to be useful for both the restaurant and the customers.
